About project

Baltic Intellectual Property is a project maintaining a database of intellectual property developed by Baltic research organizations and marketing this database to international companies and other potential customers.

Our mission is to foster commercialization of IP from Baltic universities and research institutes and increase the competitiveness of the international companies in the global market.

We offer solutions for the following challenges in the Baltic countries:

  • Research organizations fail on commercializing IP because of weak recognition
  • A single research organization cannot always create enough interest for international companies
  • Scientists are not always interested in contract research
